When we’re not hard at the grindstone making games and working with developers to get their work into your game hungry mitts, we are occasionally allowed out for the night. This week saw our first games launch event. The Thumbstar staff, some of our very gifted developers and the mobile games press converged on Proud Camden, a rather hip venue in Central London, to play games, have a chat, stuff our faces at the big Thumbstar BBQ and screech our lungs out at the karaoke.
We made a few big announcements about Thumbstar moving into the Chinese games market and in grand style launched four titles – Porkchop and Mouse, Clumsy Pirates, i3 and Grumble & Piccolo’s Fishing Trip. You can read some of the coverage from the event here:
The developers from Found in the Future teach journalists how to play i3. Easy to play, difficult to master. You gotta build up those combos!
